Early 20th C. Stunning Extra Large Mediterranean olive oil jar from the 1920s. Gorgeous jar with twin handles and rim both coated with a french glaze in a forest green color transitioning to the clay finish of the rest of the jar. The Mediterranean jar was used back in the day to store olive oil, a lot of the jars are usually much smaller so this piece is a rare find.
The jar can be used as a planter with an opening of 17.5cm diameter or can be used for dry arrangements as well. It has an opening at the base and could be easily transformed into a lamp which would actually be absolutely stunning.
